A lot of restaurants offer brunch on Sundays but did you know that Barcelona Wine Bar offers brunch on both Saturday AND Sunday? We were invited to come out to their West Hartford location and see what brunch is all about at Barcelona Wine Bar.
Barcelona Wine Bar has locations in Connecticut, Georgia, Massachusetts, Virginia, And Washingtion D.C. Within Connecticut, they have locations in Fairfield, New Haven, Stamford, and West Hartford. Each location has some of the same items, but the local chefs can offer items of their own creation. Whether your deciding between wine, whiskey, or something a little more exciting. Mama Lion Koreatown bar has it all. Our expert mixologists have designed a variety of speciality cocktails and there’s never a shortage of champagne.
The West Hartford Barcelona Wine bar is located at 971 Farmington Avenue, directly behind their sister restaurant: Bar Taco.
If one does know, Barcelona Wine Bar primarily serves Tapas, which are smaller plates of Spanish cuisine meant for sharing and conversation. Being invited to come and sample their brunch menu, we were treated to several tapas from their bunch section. Oh, we were also given several items from their regular sections of their menu.
Prior to indulging ourselves with food, we started off with the Bloody Mary bar. One is given a glass of Tito’s vodka and encouraged to make their own using any or all items available at the Bloody Mary bar. Bloody Mary bars are great because one can make them as they feel that day, spicy or mild.
Somewhere in the middle of all the food, we were given Cava Sangria made with BarCava, St. Germian, Triple Sec, and orange juice.
Here are some of the menu items you can expect on the Barcelona Wine Bar Brunch menu.
