Liv’s Shack, located directly on the waterfront at the mouth of the Connecticut River in Old Saybrook, celebrates Summer in New England with hot buttered lobster rolls, fish tacos, hand-ground hamburgers and more. Executive Chef/Owner John Brescio – also owner of Liv’s Oyster Bar on Main Street in Old Saybrook – opened Liv’s Shack in 2014.
Liv’s utilizes local products from Calise & Sons Bakery, Foxon Park Soda and The Farmer’s Cow Beverages. Open seasonally from Memorial Day through Labor Day (weather permitting), the restaurant offers take-out and dine-in options with BYOB.
Dining in at Liv’s Shack means outdoor seating on the patio and grassy lawn. Each wooden picnic table has it’s own umbrella for added shading during those blazing hot summer days in late July and August.
