September is the start of Fall Festival season in Connecticut. Connecticut offers some of the best fall agricultural fairs and festivals in New England. Think sweet stickiness of a caramel apple, the smell of fried dough, the sounds of kids screeching on the rides, bands playing, Midway games, cows and sheep, horse and tractor pulls, and Kettle corn!
The largest fair in New England is The Big E. People come from all around New England to attend this 17 day fair.
Here is a list of just some of the Fall fairs and festivals happening in Connecticut. Looking for even more things to do this Fall? Check out this list of 100 things to do in Connecticut this Fall from the CT Department of Tourism
