A few weeks ago I went on a garden tour, sponsored by the Madison Garden Club, out of Madison, Connecticut, a town about 20 minutes from where we live. I went with fellow writer and garden lover, Bonnie from Home Place.
Not only will you discover new flowers and greenery to grow in your own garden, you can chat with homeowners who are eager to tell you about their gardens so you can learn what works for them. You will also get to see how different gardeners place plants and what props, statues, and accessories they use to enhance their gardens. By taking a garden tour in your own state, close to home, what works for those gardeners should work for you since you live in the same locale with the same weather.
Here are some photos from our recent garden tour. Enjoy!
