Weekend in Norfolk at Downtown Norfolk
Celebrate the 11th annual Weekend in Norfolk (WIN) from Friday, July 31, through Sunday, August 2, 2026. This three-day community festival features music, art, history, gardens, family activities, outdoor recreation, local food, and cultural experiences at venues throughout Norfolk.
One of the weekend’s highlights is Sidewalk Sunday on August 2 from 12 pm to 4 pm on Station Place. With the street closed to traffic, visitors can browse handmade goods, meet local artisans, enjoy live music, and explore local businesses. Garden enthusiasts can tour four private gardens, visit the community garden, attend a composting demonstration, and receive a free herb seedling while supplies last. Additional activities include a town-wide tag sale, art exhibits, and an open artist studio.
Live music takes place throughout the weekend, including concerts on the Green, performances at Infinity Music Hall’s Bistro, the Emerging Artists concert at the Music Shed, children’s entertainment, and an ice cream social. Outdoor activities include guided nature walks, yoga on the Green, a gravel bike ride, fly-fishing workshops, lawn games, and family-friendly activities hosted by the Norfolk Volunteer Fire Department. Visitors can also enjoy historical exhibits, tours of local landmarks, cultural programs at the Connecticut-Asia Cultural Center, and a variety of dining specials from local restaurants, food trucks, and vendors.
