Norfolk celebrates the spirit of summer during the 11th Annual Weekend in Norfolk from Friday, July 31, through Sunday, August 2, 2026. This town-wide festival features live music, art exhibitions, garden tours, outdoor recreation, family activities, local food, and historic attractions, with many events offered free of charge.
Throughout the weekend, visitors can enjoy concerts on the Town Green, performances at Yale’s Music Shed, art exhibitions, guided walks, yoga, cycling, fly-fishing workshops, and tours of Norfolk’s historic sites. Sunday’s expanded Sidewalk Sunday transforms Robertson Plaza into a pedestrian marketplace from 12 pm to 4 pm with local artisans, authors, live music, and community vendors. Garden enthusiasts can tour private and community gardens, while history lovers can explore Revolutionary War exhibits at the Norfolk Historical Society and visit landmarks including Battell Chapel and the historic Whitehouse. Families can also enjoy children’s programs, an ice cream social, and cultural activities presented by the Connecticut-Asia Cultural Center.
Local restaurants, cafés, food trucks, and specialty vendors will offer a variety of dining options throughout the festival. With activities taking place across Norfolk, guests can create their own itinerary and experience the town’s vibrant arts, culture, and natural beauty over the three-day celebration.
