Tree I.D. Along the Artists’ Trail at Florence Griswold Museum

Visitors can explore the natural beauty of the Robert F. Schumann Artists’ Trail during Tree I.D. Along the Artists’ Trail, taking place at 2:00 pm on Sunday, June 1, 2025, at the Florence Griswold Museum in Old Lyme, Connecticut.
Led by Manager of Visitor Services, Gregoire, this guided walk will highlight the diverse tree species found along the trail. Participants will learn how to identify various trees while gaining insight into the unique habitat of the lower Connecticut River valley. The walk will also include a discussion on the broader ecological and historical context of New England’s landscape.
This outdoor program offers an engaging way to connect with nature while deepening appreciation for the region’s natural history.
