Strawberry Festival at Lyman Orchards

Summer strawberry season takes center stage on June 13, 2026 from 10 am to 4 pm at Lyman Orchards Apple Barrel Farm Market, 32 Reeds Gap Road, Middlefield, CT 06455.

The annual Strawberry Festival features a full day of family-friendly activities, food, live music, and seasonal treats celebrating one of Connecticut’s favorite summer traditions. Guests can enjoy Pick Your Own strawberries beginning at 8 am on South Street, along with strawberry shortcakes, ice cream, and fresh bakery items available throughout the day.

Festival activities include kids crafts with ToneGrown, yard games, henna art, gem mining, and visits with the Circle K Petting Farm. Jones Apiaries will also be on-site with honey farm activities. Food trucks GMonkey and Crazy Taco Mex will serve lunch selections from 11:30 am to 3:30 pm.

Live music by Hosmer Mountain Boys takes place on the Apple Barrel patio from 1 pm to 4 pm. Guests can also participate in the Kids and Adult Pie Eating Contest at 12:30 pm while space is available.

Admission to the Strawberry Festival is free. Activities and vendors are subject to change.
