Spring Tea at the Mansion at Lockwood-Mathews Mansion Museum

An elegant afternoon of tea, history, and springtime celebration will take place on Sunday, May 3, 2026, from 2 pm to 4 pm at the Lockwood-Mathews Mansion Museum, 295 West Avenue, Norwalk, CT 06850.
Chaired by LMMM Trustee Lynne H. Byington, the event will feature a special presentation titled “Gardens of the Gilded Age” by author and garden historian Jana Milbocker. The talk will explore the grand landscapes and horticultural trends that defined the estates of America’s Gilded Age.
Guests will enjoy a traditional tea service with luxurious refreshments while participating in a variety of activities that complement the afternoon’s theme. The event also includes a hat contest, a silent auction, and a special drawing.
