Red Carpet Gala Celebrating the Mansion’s Cinematic History at Lockwood-Mathews Mansion Museum

Hollywood glamour comes to the Lockwood-Mathews Mansion Museum during the Red Carpet Gala Celebrating the Mansion’s Cinematic History on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at 6 pm. Held in the Mansion’s historic rooms, this elegant fundraising event celebrates the National Historic Landmark’s enduring connection to film and television.

Guests can enjoy a cinematic experience presented by the Avon Theatre, an exclusive preview of the exhibition “The Evolving Icon” in collaboration with the Connecticut Society of Portrait Artists, a formal dinner, silent and live auctions, and other special activities throughout the evening. Attendees are encouraged to wear red carpet or black-tie optional attire.

The gala highlights the Mansion’s legacy as a filming location for productions including House of Dark Shadows, The Stepford Wives, Glacier Bay, and Netflix’s Mr. Harrigan’s Phone.
