Colonial Tavern Night 2026 at Wilton Historical Society

Step back into 18th-century Wilton for an evening inspired by the town’s historic taverns and inns. Colonial Tavern Night returns to the Wilton Historical Society on Saturday, October 3, from 6 pm to 8:30 pm, transforming the museum into a one-night-only tavern experience.

Taverns played an important role in colonial communities, serving as places to eat, drink, rest, and gather. During the evening, guests can enjoy great food, drinks, games, and a history-themed pub trivia contest while learning more about the role these establishments played in 18th-century Wilton.

Tickets include an open bar and food courtesy of Jeff’s BBQ. The event is for adults ages 21 and older, and tickets will go on sale soon. Wilton Historical Society members will receive early access. The event is sponsored by ASML.
