
Ground Rules: Sound Coffee at Connecticut Museum of Culture and History

Visitors can explore the fascinating history of coffee in Connecticut and enjoy a freshly brewed experience at the Connecticut Museum of Culture and History in Hartford. As part of the museum’s new Ground Rules series, this event begins with a guided tour of the exhibition Coffee: A Connecticut Story, followed by a tasting and conversation with local coffee roasters from Sound Coffee in Bridgeport.
Guests will learn how to taste coffee like a pro while sampling three single-origin brews. This engaging session offers insight into both Connecticut’s coffee culture and the craft behind a perfect cup.
The event will take place on Saturday, May 17, 2025, beginning at 11:00 am. Tickets are included with general museum admission: $12 for adults, $10 for seniors, $8 for students and youth ages 6–17. Admission is free for museum members. Pre-registration is encouraged as space is limited.
