
Docent Tour: Collection Highlight at Yale Center for British Art

Explore five centuries of British art through a docent-led tour at the Yale Center for British Art in New Haven. This interactive 45-minute tour highlights works from the museum’s renowned collection, including paintings, sculptures, and decorative arts from the sixteenth century to the present, now displayed in a reimagined installation titled In a New Light: Five Centuries of British Art.
Led by the museum’s knowledgeable and engaging volunteer educators, the tour offers insight into the collection as well as the building itself, designed by celebrated modernist architect Louis I. Kahn. Guests are encouraged to meet at the Entrance Court by the Visitor Services desk.
The tour takes place on Saturday, May 17, 2025, beginning at 11:00 am. Admission is free.
