An Easter Table Feast with Chef Carlos Perez at The Silo Cooking School

The Silo Cooking School in New Milford will host a special culinary experience on Thursday, April 10, 2025, at 6:30 pm. Chef Carlos Perez, known for his bold, Mediterranean-inspired flavors from At The Corner, will lead an intimate cooking class that celebrates the season with traditional and elevated Easter dishes.

This exclusive event is limited to just 16 participants and features a hands-on journey through a spring menu that blends classic ingredients with creative flair. The evening begins with honey and cardamom-laced Easter Bread, followed by a main course of Roast Lamb served with spring pea purée, glazed baby carrots, and new potatoes, all tied together with a jalapeño mint gastrique. For dessert, guests will prepare a Crostata di Ricotta—a Sicilian ricotta pie delicately infused with orange blossom.

This is more than a cooking class—it’s a festive, flavor-packed exploration of Easter traditions, with expert instruction from one of Connecticut’s most innovative chefs. Tickets are $140 and space is extremely limited.
