Gilded Age Properties: Sneak Peek at the Holdings of the Lockwoods & Mathews at HMTX’s Great Hall

The Lockwood-Mathews Mansion Museum will launch its 2025 Lecture Series with Gilded Age Properties: Sneak Peek at the Holdings of the Lockwoods & Mathews on Thursday, April 10, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Held at HMTX’s Great Hall in Norwalk, the evening will feature a presentation by trustee and financial expert Kathy Olsen, CPA. Drawing from extensive research into family letters, tax records, wills, and archival documents, Olsen will reveal fascinating details about the historic assets, unexpected heirs, and hidden scandals of these two prominent Gilded Age families.

Light refreshments will be served following the lecture. Admission is $15 for members and $20 for non-members.
