Mohegan Sun is now home to the new COMIX Roadhouse – formerly know at COMIX Comedy Club and Craft Beer Bar. The new COMIX Roadhouse experience presents a mix of regional country bands, as well as a mechanical bull, Karaoke, and even line dancing. The full bar features 30 craft beers on tap and a Texas-style food menu. Comix Roadhouse has two stages, each in a dedicated room, one for comedy and one for music.
COMIX Roadhouse is located in the Casino of the Earth, in between The Wolf Den and the Mohegan Sun Arena (near Lush).
The Texas-style food menu is a crowd-pleaser and it is stocked with authentic fare such as smoked brisket, pulled pork, Country Fried Chicken, St. Louis Style ribs, Chicken wings and Burnt pork ends, which are smoked in-house.
Some of the best breweries in New England join in with the likes of Beer’d (Stonington, CT), Two Roads (Stratford, CT) and Lawson’s Finest Liquids (Waitsfield, VT) which are regular offerings. National powerhouses like New Belgium, Stone and Elysian will have fresh kegs on hand too. In all, 3 taps are featured at the bar.
Those seeking unique drinks are in luck as well, as the fully stocked bar and crew of mixologists create unique country-themed cocktails nightly. Happy Hour checks in at 6:00 pm daily with 15% off all drinks.
The COMIX Roadhouse stage stays busy with incredible local bands and Karaoke events every weekend. Performances typically start at 9:00 to 10:00 on Fridays and 8:30 to 9:30 on Saturdays. Featured bands include the likes of The Troublemakers, Justin Chandler Band, Whiskey & Rye, Southern Voice, Thirty 6 Red, Houston Bernard Band and many more. COMIX Roadhouse is open seven days a week for your entertainment and dine enjoyment. Comix Comedy Club is open every Wednesday through Sunday with entertainment nightly and late night shows Thursday through Saturday.
