Kate Belli, PhD at Dolan School of Business

Kate Belli, PhD will present “From Art Historian to Art Sleuth” as part of the Philip I. Eliasoph Open VISIONS Forum: Espresso on Wednesday, September 23, at 7:30 pm in the Event Hall at the Dolan School of Business.

Belli writes thrillers and mysteries and holds a PhD in art history. She is also a gallery director and faculty member at a liberal arts college. Her latest novel, The Gallery Assistant, follows a New York art gallery assistant who is forced to reckon with her past after an up-and-coming painter is murdered, drawing her into a sinister web of deceit.

The presentation offers a look at Belli’s journey from art historian to mystery and thriller writer, connecting her background in the art world with her work as an author. The event is presented in partnership with the Fairfield University Art Museum and the Art History and Visual Culture Program.
