The Minutes at Wien Experimental Theatre

The Academy Players of Fairfield University will present Tracy Letts’s The Minutes from Wednesday, September 23, through Saturday, September 26, at 7:30 pm at the Wien Experimental Theatre in the Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts.

Performed by Fairfield’s faculty and staff theatre troupe, The Minutes is a darkly comic and sharply satirical play set during a small-town council meeting. As the meeting unfolds, buried secrets, civic corruption, and the dangerous myths communities uphold to maintain power and control gradually come to light.

Each performance will be followed by a talk-back discussion led by Fairfield University faculty, offering audiences an opportunity to explore the themes and ideas raised by the production.
