King Stingray at Levitt Pavilion for the Performing Arts

Experience the distinctive sound of King Stingray at Levitt Pavilion for the Performing Arts on Wednesday, September 23, 2026. Doors open at 6:30 pm, and the free ticketed concert begins at 7:30 pm.
Formed by lifelong friends Theo Dimathaya Burarrwanga and Roy Kellaway, King Stingray hails from the remote Aboriginal community of Yirrkala in Australia’s Northern Territory. The band blends traditional Yolŋu Manikay song traditions with surf rock, indie, and funk to create its signature “Yolŋu surf-rock” sound. Their energetic performances and unique musical style have earned international recognition while celebrating the culture and heritage of the Yolŋu people.
This is a free ticketed event. Advance reservations are recommended while tickets remain available. Any remaining tickets will be distributed at the Levitt Pavilion Box Office beginning two hours before showtime on the day of the performance, subject to availability.
