We visited the Buttonwoods Sunflower Festival on the last day of the event. The weather was great and the flowers were still plentiful. The place was packed with people. We also ate some of their fabulous ice cream. I was so looking forward to their sunflower ice cream but it sold out the day before. I was able to capture some great sunflower photographs.

Been to see these gorgeous flowers quite a few times. It’s a lovely drive through RI into Ct. It’s a bucket list thing to have on your list. Here is a photo that I took while enjoying my time
I was there about 5 years ago with my husband and it was amazing! This time I took my sister that was visiting from Indiana a couple of days ago.
We got there and it started down pouring. We waited till it stopped and walked through the sunflower maze. It was beautiful! Walking back it down poured again. We had an ice cream, that was very good too. I drove to the beautiful field of sunflowers but the sunflowers were not in bloom with exception of a few here and there. I was very disappointed that she couldn’t see the beautiful work that is done every year. I am a photographer and was very disappointed I couldn’t get any beautiful shots of them as I had in my past. My husband and I are going today and hopefully the sunflowers will be in bloom.
My husband and I visited the big field of sunflowers today and they are in bloom and look spectacular!
Thanks for the beautiful scenery!
