Walking My Watershed Featuring Evie Lovett at Connecticut River Museum

The Connecticut River Museum presents Walking My Watershed, a special program with artist Evie Lovett, part of the Watermark: Capturing the Connecticut exhibit. Lovett will discuss the historical origins of cyanotype photography and its modern applications in education and fine art, while also sharing her own journey documenting the watershed near her Vermont home. From forested headwaters to villages and wetlands, Lovett collected photographs, plants, and patterns, incorporating them into artworks that reflect the relationship between people, place, and nature.

The event takes place on Saturday, October 4, 2025, from 1 pm to 2 pm at the Connecticut River Museum, 67 Main Street, Essex, CT 06426. Admission is free for members (reservation required) and $5 for non-members. Limited seating is available, and reservations are required. Virtual tickets are also available for those wishing to attend via Zoom.
