Virtual Art in Focus with Fairfield University Art Museum

A virtual gallery conversation series offers a closer look at individual works from the exhibition For Which It Stands… on April 10, 2026 at 1 am and May 8, 2026 at 7 am. Hosted by the Fairfield University Art Museum, this online program invites participants to engage with art from anywhere.
Led by Curator of Education and Academic Engagement Michelle DiMarzo, each session focuses on a single artwork, encouraging thoughtful discussion in an informal and accessible setting. Participants will explore the themes, materials, and cultural context behind each piece while engaging in guided conversation.
The April 10 session will highlight Julie Mehretu’s Corner of Lake and Minnehaha (2022), a layered and visually dynamic screenprint. The May 8 session will focus on Rosson Crow’s Fragility (Pax Americana) (2023), a mixed-media work examining symbolism and identity.
Advance registration is required to receive access to the virtual program. For more information and to register, visit fairfield.edu/museum.
