Thursdays on the Dock: 102D Army Band at the Connecticut River Museum

Enjoy an evening of live waterfront music during Thursdays on the Dock featuring the 102D Army Band on Thursday, August 6, 2026, from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm at the Connecticut River Museum.

Now in its 17th year, Thursdays on the Dock has become a shoreline tradition, offering free outdoor concerts on the Museum’s front lawn overlooking the Connecticut River. Guests are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket, relax by the water, and enjoy live music as the sun sets over the river.

This week’s performance features the 102D Army Band, known as “Connecticut’s Own” Army National Guard Band. Based in Rockville, the ensemble is made up of 37 Soldier-Musicians and seven musical groups that perform throughout the state. The evening’s concert will feature the band’s Jazz Combo, presenting a lively selection of music in a scenic riverside setting.

Admission is free. In the event of inclement weather, updates will be posted on the Connecticut River Museum’s website.
