The Wilderness with Angela Flournoy at Mark Twain House Museum

Angela Flournoy’s novel The Wilderness follows five Black women—Desiree, Danielle, January, Monique, and Nakia—over two transformative decades as they navigate adulthood, family, ambition, and friendship between New York and Los Angeles. This in-person event is part of the Voices of Today Series, which features celebrated contemporary authors in conversation. A discussion will be moderated by Sophfronia Scott, and books will be available for purchase with a signing following the event.
