Direct from Broadway, Suffs is the acclaimed Tony Award®-winning musical that tells the story of the brilliant, passionate, and funny American women who fought tirelessly for the right to vote. Created by Shaina Taub, the first woman to independently win Tony Awards for Best Book and Best Score in the same season, the musical explores the triumphs and setbacks of the struggle for equality with humor, heart, and powerful performances. Winner of the Outer Critics’ Circle Award for Best New Musical, Suffs has been praised as “thrilling, inspiring and dazzlingly entertaining” (Variety) and for humanizing and empowering audiences (Chicago Tribune).
Performances take place at The Bushnell in Hartford, CT, with evening shows at 7:30 pm from January 27 through January 31. Matinee performances are scheduled for Saturday, January 31 at 2:00 pm and Sunday, February 1 at 1:00 pm and 6:30 pm. The show runs approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes, including one intermission.
