Pantochino Productions brings a wickedly funny musical spoof to Milford with The Real Housewives of Sleepy Hollow, a playful mash-up of the popular television reality show and Washington Irving’s classic American tale. The production features familiar characters including Ichabod Crane, Brom Bones and Katrina Van Tassel, reimagined through the snarky and sassy housewives of Sleepy Hollow.
With book and lyrics by Bert Bernardi and music by Justin Rugg, the musical puts a fresh spin on the familiar story of the new school teacher, the waggish Brom Bones and the fair Katrina. The production features Mary Mannix, Shelley Marsh Poggio, Rachelle Ianniello, Maria Berte, Valerie Loomis, Killian Meehan, Justin Rugg, Jimmy Johansmeyer and Pantochino debut performer Chelsea Dacey.
The production runs from October 9 through October 30, with performances on Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 pm and Sundays at 2 pm. Seating is cabaret-style, and audience members can bring their own food and drinks to enjoy during the show. Tickets are available online only at www.pantochino.com.
The Milford Arts Council, The MAC, is located at 40 Railroad Avenue in Milford. Free parking is available at showtime in all train station lots.
