The Bushnell in Hartford presents The Notebook, a moving new musical based on Nicholas Sparks’ best-selling novel and the beloved film. The story follows Allie and Noah, two people from different worlds whose love endures through life’s challenges and time itself.
Praised as “absolutely gorgeous, not to be missed” by The Chicago Tribune and “a love story for the ages” by The New York Daily News, this production combines heartfelt storytelling with music and lyrics by multi-platinum singer-songwriter Ingrid Michaelson, a book by Bekah Brunstetter (NBC’s This Is Us), and choreography by Katie Spelman. The show is directed by Michael Greif (Dear Evan Hansen, RENT, Next to Normal) and Schele Williams (The Wiz, Aida).
