School’s Out Summer Camp at the Mattatuck Museum

The Mattatuck Museum in Waterbury is hosting six exciting weeks of School’s Out! Summer Adventures Camp, offering children a unique blend of history, art, and hands-on creativity. Each week explores a different theme, giving campers the opportunity to dive into museum galleries, create with diverse materials, and build new skills in a fun, supportive environment.
Camp sessions run from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm, with free before and after care available from 8:00 am to 9:00 am and 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm. Weekly themes for 2025 include “Marvelous Me!,” “Mini MIXMASTER,” “Georgia’s Garden,” “Melodic Masterpieces,” “Capes and Canvases: A Superhero Spectacular,” and a special Theater Arts Camp with Grumbling Gryphons during the week of August 4–8.
Tuition discounts are available for Kids Adventure Passholders. Payment and registration are accepted on a rolling basis; however, the no-refund policy after May 21 applies regardless of registration date. A completed registration form is required before the first day of camp attendance.
The Mattatuck Museum is located at 144 West Main Street, Waterbury, Connecticut. For more information or to register, visit mattmuseum.org or contact 203-753-0381.
