Richiman and Groove Nice at Levitt Pavilion

Internationally acclaimed blues group Richiman and Groove Nice brings its high-energy blend of American-style blues and groove-driven rhythms to Levitt Pavilion on July 9, 2026.
Based in Seoul, South Korea, the band has built a reputation for delivering authentic blues performances inspired by the rich traditions of American roots music. Originally formed as the Richiman Trio in 2018, the group gained international recognition after competing in the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, Tennessee. Following a return appearance in 2022, Richiman and Groove Nice became one of the competition’s top five finalists, marking the first time a Korean blues band had reached the finals in the event’s history.
The band’s sound combines classic blues influences with danceable grooves and modern energy. Their releases include Memphis Special: One Take Live, recorded during their International Blues Challenge finals appearance, and Pack My Suitcase, recorded at the legendary Royal Recording Studio in Memphis, where Al Green created many of his classic recordings. In 2024, they released Cruisin’ Through Connecticut Live!, capturing performances from their American tour.
Known for their engaging stage presence and exceptional musicianship, Richiman and Groove Nice have performed sold-out shows across the United States and appeared as a featured act at the Black Eyed Sally’s Blues Fest in Hartford.
The concert begins at 7:30 pm on Thursday, July 9, 2026, with doors opening at 6:30 pm. The performance takes place at Levitt Pavilion for the Performing Arts, 40 Jesup Road, Westport, CT 06880.
Admission is free, but tickets are required. Free tickets may be reserved in advance online and may also be available through the Levitt Pavilion box office, subject to availability. Season members receive priority access to a limited reserve of free tickets throughout the season.
