Throughout the summer, visitors can explore an impressive collection of indoor and outdoor model train layouts while enjoying the sights, sounds, and craftsmanship of model railroading in a family-friendly setting.
The museum’s Open House events welcome guests to discover detailed railroad displays, watch model trains in operation, and learn more about the hobby in a relaxed and interactive environment. Donations are appreciated to help support the museum’s programs and exhibits.
Summer Open Houses are scheduled from 1 pm to 4 pm on June 6, 13, 20, and 27; July 11, 12, 18, 19, 25, and 26; and August 1, 8, 15, 22, and 29. The museum will be closed during the July 4 holiday weekend and Labor Day weekend.
