Live from the Boathouse!: Wildfires 101 at Connecticut River Museum

The Connecticut River Museum will host Wildfires 101 on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, from 6 pm to 7 pm as part of the Live from the Boathouse! series. Fire Control Officer James Bryan from the DEEP Forest Protection Program will discuss the increasing threat of wildfires due to climate change and provide insights on wildfire prevention, control, and how to protect homes and properties from fire risks.
The presentation will also cover daily forest fire danger assessments and effective fire prevention strategies.
Cost is $5 for non-members and free for museum members.
