Les Misérables at Shubert Theatre

The acclaimed production of Les Misérables will take the stage at the Shubert Theatre from June 2 through June 7, bringing one of the world’s most celebrated musicals to New Haven. Evening performances will take place at 7 pm from June 2 through June 6, with matinee performances at 1 pm from June 5 through June 7.

Presented by Cameron Mackintosh, this Tony Award-winning musical by Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schönberg has captivated audiences around the world with its sweeping story of love, sacrifice, redemption, and resilience set against the backdrop of 19th-century France. The production has been praised internationally for its powerful staging and emotional storytelling.

The unforgettable score features iconic songs including “I Dreamed a Dream,” “On My Own,” “Bring Him Home,” “One Day More,” and “Master of the House.” Seen by more than 130 million people worldwide, Les Misérables remains one of the most enduring and beloved musicals in theatrical history.

The performance runs approximately 2 hours and 55 minutes, including one intermission. The production is recommended for audiences ages 12 and older. Children under the age of three, including babes in arms, will not be admitted to Broadway performances.
