The final stop of the national tour, Kimberly Akimbo is a heartfelt and offbeat musical comedy that explores growing up, growing old, and making the most of the time we have. Winner of five Tony Awards including Best Musical, the production features a book and lyrics by David Lindsay-Abaire and a score by Jeanine Tesori.
The story follows Kimberly, a teenager navigating a new town, a complicated family life, a rare genetic condition, and the challenges of adolescence—all while maintaining an optimistic outlook and a sense of adventure. Blending humor and emotion, the show offers a unique and uplifting perspective on resilience and connection.
Performances take place May 14–16 at 7 pm, with additional shows on May 16 at 1 pm and May 17 at 2 pm. The runtime is approximately 2 hours and 25 minutes, including a 15-minute intermission. The show is recommended for audiences ages 13 and up.
