Kids Art Workshop: Rock On! at Mattatuck Museum

Young artists can turn recycled materials into creative musical masterpieces during the Kids Art Workshop: Rock On! at the Mattatuck Museum on Saturday, June 20, from 12 pm to 1 pm. Using cardboard, old CDs, string, and other materials, participants will design their own one-of-a-kind guitars inspired by the energy and excitement of rock music.

The hands-on workshop encourages kids to explore creativity and imagination while crafting guitars worthy of a rockstar performance. By the end of the session, participants will have their own custom instrument ready for pretend concerts and photo-worthy poses.
