Inspire Center: New Theme at the Connecticut Museum of Culture and History

Discover, create, and solve problems through hands-on exploration at the Inspire Center, featuring a new interactive theme beginning August 1, 2026, at the Connecticut Museum of Culture and History. Open from 10 am to 4:30 pm every weekend, the Inspire Center offers engaging experiences for visitors of all ages.

The Inspire Center combines history, creativity, and design by inviting guests to examine objects from the Museum’s collection and use them as inspiration for collaborative challenges. With new themes introduced every other month, each visit offers a fresh opportunity to explore history through imagination and innovation.

August’s featured challenge encourages participants to invent a new way to hold things together. Using observation, creativity, and problem-solving skills, visitors can design their own solutions while making connections to historical objects and ideas.

Admission to the Inspire Center is included with Museum admission. The Museum also offers Free First Weekend on the first Saturday and Sunday of every month, providing free admission for visitors of all ages.
