Furniture Study Highlights Tour at Yale University Art Gallery

The Yale University Art Gallery invites guests to explore American craftsmanship during the Furniture Study Highlights Tour, held on the first Friday of each month. The next session takes place on Friday, June 6, 2025, at 12:30 pm.
This guided, one-hour tour offers a close look at more than 1,300 pieces of American furniture and clocks spanning the 17th century to the present. Hosted at the Leslie P. and George H. Hume American Furniture Study Center at the Collection Studies Center on Yale’s West Campus, the experience also includes a view of the gallery’s collection of contemporary wood art. The facility, which opened in 2019, provides an exceptional setting to learn about the history and artistry of American furniture design.
Advance registration is required as space is limited. Registered attendees will receive a confirmation email with directions to the site, where ample free parking is available. Unregistered visitors cannot be accommodated.
