Collection Highlight Tour at Yale Center for British Art

Visitors can explore centuries of British artistic achievement during the Collection Highlight Tour at the Yale Center for British Art on Friday, June 6, 2025, at 2:00 pm.

This docent-led tour offers an engaging overview of In a New Light: Five Centuries of British Art, a reimagined installation showcasing works from the sixteenth century to the present. Guests will encounter remarkable paintings, drawings, and other artworks while gaining insight into their historical and cultural context.

Tours begin in the Entrance Court by the Visitor Services desk and last approximately 45 minutes. Led by volunteer museum educators, these conversational tours highlight each docent’s unique perspective and offer a welcoming, educational experience for all visitors.
