Family Day: Getting Creative with Photography at Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts

Families are invited to explore the art of photography during Family Day: Getting Creative with Photography at the Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts in Fairfield on Saturday, September 26, 2026, from 12:30 to 4 pm.

Designed for children ages 4 to 10, this hands-on program invites participants to create colorful abstract photographs inspired by artist James Welling. Using transparent colored shapes, patterns, light effects, and printed images or paper backgrounds, children will experiment with color, texture, and shadows to transform everyday images into imaginative works of art.

Two sessions will be offered, beginning at 12:30 pm and 2:30 pm. Participants may register for one session only.
