Docent Tour: “Tracey Emin: I Loved You Until The Morning” at Yale Center for British Art

Visitors can explore the deeply personal and expressive work of Tracey Emin during a docent-led tour of Tracey Emin: I Loved You Until The Morning on Thursday, June 12, 2025, at 6:00 pm at the Yale Center for British Art in New Haven. This is the first major North American museum exhibition of Emin’s work, featuring autobiographical paintings, sculptures, and works on paper spanning from 2007 to the present.

Known for her unflinching honesty and emotional depth, Emin’s art explores themes of love, vulnerability, and the female experience. The tour offers valuable insight into her creative process and the impact of her work on contemporary art.

Tours begin in the Entrance Court by the Visitor Services desk and last approximately 45 minutes. Docents at the Yale Center for British Art are trained volunteer educators who bring unique perspectives and engaging dialogue to each tour.
