Bandits on the Run at Levitt Pavilion

The Brooklyn-based trio Bandits on the Run will bring their unique blend of indie-folk and theatrical storytelling to Levitt Pavilion in Westport on Thursday, June 12, 2025, at 7:30 pm. Known for their captivating combination of cello, guitar, accordion, and found percussion, the group delivers sophisticated three-part harmonies and shared lead vocals, crafting a sound that is both whimsical and deeply resonant.
Bandits on the Run first gained national attention when their song “Love in the Underground” was featured on NPR’s Tiny Desk Contest Top Shelf. Their 2021 EP Now Is The Time, produced by Ryan Hadlock (Brandi Carlile, The Lumineers), marked a milestone in their evolving sound. Since then, they’ve composed for Netflix’s Storybots, scored the film The Same Storm, and adapted Shakespearean texts into music for theatrical productions.
Their appearance at Levitt Pavilion is part of a continued tour that includes performances at major festivals like Cambridge Folk Festival, Americanafest, and the F1 Singapore Grand Prix. With their musical storytelling and genre-blending style, Bandits on the Run promises an enchanting evening for music lovers of all ages.
