Docent Tour: Collection Highlights at Yale Center for British Art

Discover the treasures of British art through an engaging docent-led tour at the Yale Center for British Art. This interactive experience invites visitors to explore highlights from the museum’s collection, spanning five centuries of artistic achievement.

The exhibition In a New Light: Five Centuries of British Art showcases works from the sixteenth century to the present, presented in a newly reimagined installation. Each 45-minute tour offers unique perspectives from the museum’s knowledgeable volunteer educators, who share insights into the art, artists, and history represented in the galleries.

The tour will take place on Saturday, November 1, 2025, from 11:00 to 11:45 am. Participants should meet in the Entrance Court by the Visitor Services desk.

The Yale Center for British Art is located at 1080 Chapel Street, New Haven, Connecticut. Admission is free.
