Docent Tour | Collection Highlight at Yale Center for British Art

Discover five centuries of British art during a docent-led tour at the Yale Center for British Art on Saturday, May 24 at 11:00 am. This interactive tour explores highlights from the museum’s newly reimagined installation, In a New Light: Five Centuries of British Art, which features works from the sixteenth century to the present.

Led by the Center’s knowledgeable volunteer educators, the tour offers unique insights and encourages thoughtful dialogue about select pieces in the museum’s collection. Visitors will gain a deeper understanding of British art and the historic Louis I. Kahn-designed building that houses it.

Tours meet in the Entrance Court near the Visitor Services desk and last approximately 45 minutes.

The Yale Center for British Art is located at 1080 Chapel Street, New Haven, Connecticut. Admission is free and open to the public.
