Docent Tour: Collection Highlight at Yale Center for British Art

Visitors are invited to explore the Yale Center for British Art’s remarkable collection through a docent-led tour on Friday, June 20, 2025, at 2:00 pm. This engaging tour highlights significant works from In a New Light: Five Centuries of British Art, a reimagined installation featuring pieces from the sixteenth century to the present.

Tours begin in the Entrance Court near the Visitor Services desk and last approximately 45 minutes. Led by the museum’s volunteer docents—enthusiastic educators with a passion for art and architecture—the experience offers unique perspectives on both the collection and the Louis I. Kahn-designed building that houses it.
