Comedy in the Oasis Room at Garde Arts Center

The Garde Arts Center’s Oasis Room will come alive with laughter as Liz Glazer headlines this intimate comedy night. Liz is an award-winning standup comedian, actor, and writer who left a tenured career as a law professor to pursue her passion for comedy. Known for her sharp wit and engaging storytelling, Liz draws on her life as a former lawyer, a lesbian, and a rabbi’s wife to deliver thought-provoking and hilarious performances. She has won first place in the Boston Comedy Festival and the Ladies of Laughter Competition, and has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, Above the Law, and Lex Magazine. Liz has opened for Myq Kaplan and Maria Bamford, competed in the Seattle International Comedy Competition, and will appear at the upcoming HBO Women in Comedy Festival. Her acting credits include roles on ABC’s “FOR LIFE” and CBS’s “BULL.”

Comedy in the Oasis Room is part of the Comedy Craft Beer Tour, which has been pairing top-tier comedians with unique venues across the Northeast since 2016. The Oasis Room’s cozy, 100-seat setting provides the perfect up-close atmosphere to enjoy world-class stand-up comedy while sipping craft beer. Guests are encouraged to arrive early to secure seats and enjoy drinks before the show.
