Chip’s Family Restaurant 60th Anniversary Celebration at Chip’s Family Restaurant

Chip’s Family Restaurant celebrates 60 years of serving Connecticut families with a day-long community celebration on Monday, July 20, 2026, from 7 am to 9 pm at its Fairfield and Orange locations. The free event honors six decades of family traditions, community connections, and award-winning pancakes with special throwback pricing and activities for all ages.

From 7 am to 11 am, dine-in guests can enjoy three original buttermilk pancakes for just 85¢ and coffee for 15¢, reflecting the restaurant’s 1966 prices. Throughout the day, visitors can take part in family activities, children’s entertainment, limited-edition anniversary giveaways, and anniversary surprises. The Orange location will also feature vintage cars from the 1960s, while both restaurants will display historic photographs and memorabilia celebrating Chip’s six-decade history. A special community toast will recognize longtime customers, employees, and supporters.

The celebration takes place at Chip’s Family Restaurant, 321 Boston Post Road, Orange, CT 06477, and Chip’s Family Restaurant, 525 Tunxis Hill Cut Off, Fairfield, CT 06825. Admission is free and open to the public. The 85¢ pancake and 15¢ coffee promotion is available for dine-in guests only from 7 am to 11 am, limited to one pancake order per guest.
