Cactus & Succulent Society Annual Show and Sale at Bristol Senior Community Center

A vibrant celebration of unique and resilient plants takes place April 11–12, 2026 at the Bristol Senior Community Center, 240 Stafford Avenue, Bristol, CT 06010.

Now in its 41st year, the Connecticut Cactus and Succulent Show & Sale brings together plant enthusiasts, collectors, and curious visitors for a weekend filled with rare specimens, expert insights, and hands-on experiences. Guests can explore award-winning cactus and succulent displays from private collections and even vote for their favorite entries.

Throughout the weekend, attendees can browse more than two dozen vendors offering a wide selection of plants, pottery, books, artwork, and other plant-related items. Informative lectures and masterclass-style sessions provide opportunities to learn about plant care, propagation, and cultivation directly from experienced growers.

Additional highlights include live auctions featuring unique plants and specialty items, door prizes on Sunday, and a free craft and coloring area for children with adult supervision. The first 50 guest groups each day will receive a free plant, and food will be available on-site from Steve’s Top Dog food truck.

The event runs Saturday, April 11 from 10 am to 5 pm and Sunday, April 12 from 10 am to 4 pm. Admission is free.
