An Evening with David Sedaris at Garde Arts Center

An evening of sharp wit and storytelling takes place on April 11, 2026 at 8 pm at the Garde Arts Center, 325 State Street, New London, CT 06320.

Celebrated humorist and bestselling author David Sedaris brings his distinctive voice and observational humor to the stage for a live reading and discussion. Known for his personal essays and satirical storytelling, Sedaris has captivated audiences worldwide with his ability to find humor in everyday life.

His bestselling works include Me Talk Pretty One Day, Dress Your Family in Corduroy and Denim, Calypso, and Happy-Go-Lucky, along with numerous essay collections, diaries, and short stories. A frequent contributor to The New Yorker and a regular voice on public radio, Sedaris is widely recognized as one of America’s most influential humor writers.
