Apple Crisp Workshop at Lyman Orchards Apple Barrel Farm Market

A hands-on baking experience for families, kids, and adults will take place on May 30, 2026 from 10 am to 10:30 am at Lyman Orchards Apple Barrel Farm Market, 32 Reeds Gap Road, Middlefield, CT 06455.

The Apple Crisp Workshop gives participants the chance to create their own personal-sized apple crisp inside the Apple Barrel bakery kitchen. During the 30-minute workshop, guests will prepare a 7-inch round apple crisp to take home and bake later.

Designed for all ages, the workshop offers a fun and interactive baking activity in one of Connecticut’s best-known orchard settings. The Apple Barrel deli’s kid-friendly lunch menu will also be available before or after the workshop.

Tickets are $24 per person. Children ages 7 and under may be accompanied by one adult free of charge inside the bakery due to limited space. Guests ages 8 and older require their own ticket. Each session is limited to 15 participants and workshops often sell out quickly.
