Annual Old Lyme Midsummer Festival Schedule

July 27, 2019 @ 9:00 am - 4:00 pm

Annual Old Lyme Midsummer Festival Schedule

The 2019 Old Lyme Midsummer Festival will be held on July 27th from 9 am to 4 pm at the Lyme Academy College of Fine Arts. Stroll the campus and make sure to stop at the art store. Visit the tent and studios to view and purchase art by our current BFA students and alumni. Demonstrations will be held throughout the day and the popular Open Figure Drawing on the front lawn from 12 – 3 (free and open to all).

Cultural and social service organizations partner with local artists and businesses to celebrate the arts in Old Lyme with a mix of music, art exhibitions, and food. In its over 30 years the festival has grown in visitation and offerings, but has always stayed true to its mission of highlighting the culture of the community.

Event begins with a Friday evening outdoor concert and dancing at the Florence Griswold Museum (96 Lyme Street). Saturdays activities include art exhibitions and sales, food trucks, musical performances, artisan fairs, book signings and sales, domestic farm animals and hands-on children’s activities.
