Aladdin Jr. at Thomaston Opera House

LCT Youth Theatre brings the enchanting tale of Aladdin Jr. to the stage at Thomaston Opera House beginning June 6, 2025. This lively musical adaptation of the beloved Disney classic tells the story of Aladdin, a charming street thief who stumbles upon a magical genie and sets off on an adventure to win the heart of Princess Jasmine and thwart the evil plans of the sorcerer Jafar.

Specially adapted for young performers, this production features favorite songs from the animated film including “Friend Like Me,” “A Whole New World,” and “Prince Ali,” along with additional numbers from the Broadway version. With dazzling costumes, energetic choreography, and a cast of 33 students in grades 2 through 8, the show promises a vibrant and family-friendly theatrical experience.

Directed by Andrea Bingham, with music direction by Kerri Morris, choreography by Kelsey Morris, and stage management by Lilly Jackson and Jalynn Gallagher, Aladdin Jr. has a runtime of approximately 75 minutes, including a 15-minute intermission.
